Our Story
Leland Tellefsen and Mike Lerud started M&L Productions, a film and video production company, while they were still in high school. Both Leland and Mike had a passion for storytelling and a desire to use their creative skills to bring compelling stories to life through film and video. Unfortunately, Mike passed away during their senior year of high school. Despite this loss, Leland has continued to run M&L Productions and honor Mike's memory through their work. Bryan Garcia joined the team at M&L Productions as a videographer, initially coming on board at M&L Productions by doing favors for Leland, helping him with various shoots. It was through this experience that Bryan's love for filmmaking was ignited.
Together Leland and Bryan are dedicated to creating engaging and meaningful content that resonates with audiences. Whether it's a feature film, a music video, or a corporate video, they are committed to delivering top-notch results for their clients while honoring the legacy of their co-founder, Mike.

Fancy meeting you here… Right, a little about me. I studied at Columbia College Chicago, where I focused on the budding internet and mobile TV industry. Even before College, I have had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of creative video projects and I was even a published author back in 2013.
When I’m not behind a camera, you can find me yelling at the TV watching sports, playing video games or playing MTG with my friends.

Hey there! In my free time, I enjoy staying active and exploring the great outdoors. I'm a huge soccer fan and love nothing more than hitting the field with my friends. I also like to think that I’m a very personable and friendly person that enjoys meeting new people and making connections.
Before joining M&L Productions, I studied medicine at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Despite my interest in medicine, I’ve always had a passion for filmmaking, even though I didn't fully realize it until later in life. You can usually find me watching movies or writing stories for my D&D campaign.
